    Description

    MEP Engineer with PE - Relocation Offered to Wyoming

    Insight Global is assisting a client with identifying a MEP Engineer with a PE for a growing a startup in the construction industry in Gillette, WY. This company is executing on construction projects from design to build and in various industries. These industries range from commercial to residential with projects involving but not limited to warehouses, fitness facilities, greenhouses, homes, and medical complexes. The MEP Engineer will focus on designing mechanical, electrical and plumbing plans for these new builds by assisting with backlog designs from a MEP standpoint. They will work closely with Architects, Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers, and construction teams to execute upon these customized projects. As of now, most of these projects is expanding specialty medical facilities and will move into local projects in Wyoming. Below is details on additional responsibilities.

    Developing plans and designs based on client specifications and design guidelines

    Conducting research on current industry trends and technology advances to identify new materials, processes, and products that can improve efficiency or safety in design projects

    Evaluating existing structures for safety, soundness, and compliance with building codes

    Preparing construction bids and proposals for clients

    Supervising contractors to ensure that work follows specifications and meets deadlines

    Drafting contracts for projects and ensuring that client requirements are met throughout the process

    Inspecting work sites for code compliance and safety hazards

    Ensuring that all plans meet regulatory requirements

    Consulting with clients on design needs and providing recommendations

    Completing inspections of building designs

    Required Skills and Experience

    Bachelor's degree in engineering

    Professional Engineer license and willing to obtain in WY

    5+ years' experience designing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. (focus on electrical)

    Strong AutoCAD design

    Revit MEP 3D Modeling

    Understanding of construction processes and procedures

    Nice to Have Skills and Experience

    Hospital or medical construction knowledge

    Salary: $100,000 - $125,000
