- Medical degree (MD or DO) with licensure in New York
- Proven experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or related general medicine fields
- Strong interview and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in your own office space
- Comfortable performing non-treatment exams and completing detailed reports
- Previous experience with Compensation & Pension exams or government assessments
- Familiarity with veteran healthcare policies or assessment procedures
- Certification in DMA or relevant credentials (though not mandatory prior to onboarding)
- Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling and asynchronous workload
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years' clinical experience in general medicine or related specialty
- Prior experience conducting assessments for government or insurance purposes is advantageous
- Candidates must own and operate their own office locations in Ithaca or Trumansburg, NY
- Willingness to complete required training and onboarding promptly
- Local candidates only; travel expenses are included in the rate structure
- Must adhere to all applicable state, federal, and local laws concerning licensure, certification, and work hours
- Hourly FLat Rate: $800 for half-day (up to 4 hours) or $1,600 full-day (5+ hours) shifts, including report and addendum completion (overtime and holiday rates do not apply)
- One-time bonus of $650 upon completing initial training and performing your first exams
- Weekly pay via direct deposit
