    Staff Accountant

    Currently seeking a Staff Accountant for one of Central Oregon's Largest Companies. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree or 5 years of recent accounting experience as a staff or senior accountant, preferable in the financial services or real estate industry.     Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant

    • Maintain monthly and quarterly accounting for the different company entities
    • Monthly reconciliation of sub-ledgers to general ledgers
    • Booking of journal entries relating to daily operations and month-end closing
    • Accrual, amortization, and depreciation schedules
    • Assist in preparation of yearly financial audits
    • Work with CPA to prepare year end tax filings, distribution of 1099's, 1098's and K-1s
    • Manage draw cycle, schedule inspections, approving budgeted items, collect lien releases, and calculate payoffs for loans
    • Accounts Receivable and Accounts payable
    • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements of the Staff Accountant

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, or related field is required
    • 5 or more years of accounting experience as a staff accountant, preferable in the financial services or real estate industry
    • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel to include Vlookup, pivot tables, complex formulas
    • Recent experience with QuickBooks Pro and Online version
    • Ability to establish and maintain strong, effective working relationships
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Professional and self-starter
    • Financial analysis and planning are a plus not required
