The is hiring a permanent, full-time Accountant 2 to oversee the agency's approximately $2 billion in biennial disbursement procedures for legal compliance and efficient processing.
About Us:
The OLCC is responsible for regulating the sale and service of alcoholic beverages in Oregon, overseeing the state's Liquor Control Act and regulations on recreational marijuana through the Control, Regulation and Taxation of Marijuana and Industrial Hemp Act.
The OLCC consists of the Distilled Spirits Program, the Recreational Marijuana Program, and the Public Safety Program, supported by divisions such as Administration, Financial Services, and Support Services. Revenue generated by these programs funds various government initiatives in Oregon, contributing to essential services like education, law enforcement, and healthcare.
The Accountant 2 position is in the Financial Services Division, providing fiscal leadership, analysis, and accountability for the agency's biennial revenues. The Division ensures financial reporting accuracy, fiscal accountability, and supports the agency's mission through sound financial practices.
Financial Services oversees the independent liquor agents' activities, implements internal controls, and ensures timely distribution of funds to support Oregon's citizens.
