    Posting Information Position Title On-call Distribution Center Assistant (Bemidji, MN) Position Type Staff FTE .25 General Employment Period January – December General Work Schedule (days of week) Weekdays, some weekends General shift hours Day shift Benefits Eligible?     Responsibilities:

    1. Receiving
  • Receive food, mail, retail items and equipment.
  • Ensure that all items are received in acceptable condition.
  • Ensure that all items are stored in their proper location.
    • 2. Delivery
  • Pick items for Delivery.
  • Ensure that all items are recorded.
  • Deliver food, mail, retail items and equipment for:Special EventsVillage Weekend ProgramsAdult ProgramsCharter SchoolsSummer Programs, including leased site facilitiesOther Departments within Concordia Language Villages
    • 3. Meet and keep required driving policies

    4. Record Keeping
  • Enter invoices into Distribution Center Database
  • Enter deliveries into Distribution Center Database
    • 5. Mail
  • Receive, sort and deliver mail to designated areas on the Turtle River Lake site
    • 6. Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum age: 19
  • Current driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Knowledge of food products
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds 100 times and 100 pounds 15 times daily.
  • Good organizational skills
  • Experience in driving a van or light truck
  • Ability to read and write
  • Good math skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work closely with people
  • Willingness to work varied shifts
  • Must be able to stand, kneel, and stoop
  • Good customer service skills
