- Conduct group sessions with 6 to 12 participants, providing approximately 50 minutes of direct group facilitation.
- Allocate approximately 10 minutes for session preparation, including set-up and breakdown.
- Develop clearly stated objectives and goals for each therapeutic recreational group session.
- Plan and lead a variety of activities, including calisthenics, stretching exercises, relaxation techniques, education on proper body mechanics, arts and crafts, sports, movement, yoga, and meditation.
- Ensure a total of 416 sessions are conducted over the course of 12 months.
- Work on Tuesdays and Thursdays, conducting 8 sessions per week (4 sessions each Tuesday and Thursday).
- Conduct morning sessions from 10:00 am to 11:00 am / 11:00 am to 12:00 pm and evening sessions from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm / 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
- Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, or a related field.
- Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS).
- Previous experience in conducting recreational therapy sessions preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Must be able to pass the required medical tests.
