    Project Manager

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and uphold project timelines, scheduling kick-off reviews, and coordinating resources under the guidance of the Engineering Manager.
    • Initiate and oversee job setups within IQMS system.
    • Deliver outstanding and timely customer service, adeptly resolving project issues to secure both current and future projects for the company.
    • Define customer requirements and effectively communicate them to internal stakeholders, collaborating with the integrated services group for MGS projects.
    • Lead project teams, fostering communication among functional representatives, and provide regular project status reports including schedule updates and photo progress. Maintain detailed meeting notes for internal project reviews.
    • Compile final machine documentation packages, ensuring adherence to or surpassing the company's quality standards.
    • Draft, review, and annotate project documentation such as URS, FDS, FMEA, safety risk analysis, FAT, SAT, and IQ/OQ/PQ validations.
    • Offer recommendations for new processes and spearhead efforts to enhance existing processes for improved quality and on-time delivery.
    • Propose efficiencies and strategies for product improvement to management and diligently file all documentation and customer correspondence.
    • Outline and monitor project progress against schedule and budget objectives, providing regular updates to management and maintaining revenue recognition reports for the accounting department.
    • Report on project process and progression to customers and develop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule projects due to unforeseen circumstances.
    • Arrange and facilitate project post-mortems to assess budget, schedule, project highlights, and areas for improvement.
    • Support ancillary production functions such as purchasing, costing, assembly, and shipping, and assist in other production duties or organizational activities as required.
    • Perform any other assigned duties as necessary.

    Experience and Skills:

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
    • Three to Five years of relevant experience, or a combination of education, on-the-job experience, and training.
    • Previous experience as a project manager for automation equipment.
    • Preferred experience in supporting medical customers and familiarity with medical machine validations and documentation protocols.
    • Understanding of plastic injection molding processes and equipment is advantageous.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external teams.
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite, with essential knowledge of MS Project for project tracking.
    • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Pro-E, or Solidworks design software is highly desirable.
    • Experience with Smartsheet is preferred.
