    Job DescriptionPosition: MIG WelderLocation: Clover, SC/ South GastoniaShift: 1st Shift
    Company Overview:We are currently seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team at our Clover, SC facility. The ideal candidate will have experience working with carbon, stainless steel, and aluminum materials and be proficient in MIG welding techniques.
    Job Duties:
    1. Perform MIG welding operations on various materials including carbon, stainless steel, and aluminum according to blueprints, drawings, and welding procedures.
    2. Set up welding machines based on material type and thickness, ensuring proper voltage and wire feed settings.
    3. Inspect welded joints and structures to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
    4. Conduct preventive maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
    5. Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes and workflow.
    6. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
    7. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of materials and tools.
    8. Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to address any issues or concerns related to welding tasks.
    Qualifications:
    1. Proven experience as a MIG welder, with proficiency in welding carbon, stainless steel, and aluminum materials.
    2. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
    3. Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
    4. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
    5. Knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures.
    6. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
    7. Welding certification(s) preferred but not required.
