Job Summary
We are looking for an Associate Copywriter to support seasonal storytelling and product messaging across customer-facing marketing channels.
This role is ideal for an early-career writer who is eager to build their craft, can execute confidently with direction, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative creative environment.
Reporting to the Senior Copywriter, the Associate Copywriter will draft and version copy for product descriptions, digital content, campaigns, and print materials.
This role requires strong writing fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly while maintaining accuracy, brand voice, and consistency throughout all stages of development.
ResponsibilitiesTranslate design intent into clear, customer-friendly product narratives, including fit, fabrication, silhouette, trend, and styling benefits
Support seasonal campaigns by contributing copy for collection stories, lookbooks, and on-site feature modules
Write and version copy for omni-channel marketing efforts, including promotions, product drops, back-in-stock messaging, and triggered email flows
Apply revisions efficiently, manage feedback, and maintain version control to keep projects on schedule
Participate in creative reviews, incorporating feedback quickly and thoughtfully
Collaborate with Art Directors and Graphic Designers to ensure copy aligns with layouts, character limits, and channel best practices
Follow established brand voice and quality guidelines while contributing to ongoing voice consistency and naming explorations
Proofread and quality-check copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all deliverables
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Experience
0 - 2 years of experience experience within an apparel, fashion, marketing, or communications environment
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Strong writing fundamentals with an emerging ability to think conceptually and tell clear, engaging stories
Ability to shift between clever, on-brand headlines and straightforward product selling copy with guidance
Strong command of grammar and punctuation, with working knowledge of AP style and the ability to follow a brand style guide
Comfort writing within tight character limits as well as longer formats such as emails and landing pages
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
Collaborative, team-first approach with openness to feedback and a desire to learn and grow
Familiarity with Google Workspace and comfort reviewing copy in design software and learning workflow tools such as Asana and Ziflow
