    Internal Audit Manager
    Our client, a Fortune 500 company in the packaging industry is currently seeking an Internal Audit Manager.

    As the Internal Audit Manager, you will lead the implementation of various Internal Audit Department initiatives.

    You will oversee all aspects of the internal audit function, including developing and implementing audit plans, managing the audit team, and reporting findings to senior management.


    Responsibilities:
    Manage and execute multiple audit projects at the corporate offices, paper mills, and box plants
    Facilitate risk assessments with management and evaluating existing processes
    Ensure audits are properly staffed based on established priorities and deadlines
    Continuously assess and perform quality reviews over control documentation
    Prepare presentations and deliverables on various audit areas for Financial Webcasts or Audit Committee communications
    Identify opportunities to increase external audit team's reliance on internal audit work, improve efficiency and reduce risk
    Build and maintain strong relationships with management by demonstrating knowledge of the company's business environment, and providing process improvement recommendations
    Demonstrating professionalism and courtesy in all stakeholder interactions
    Travel to various company locations within the United States, 20-25% annually

    Basic qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, information systems, general business or acceptable equivalent
    5+ years of audit, finance, accounting experience or equivalent
