    CNA- Sunset



    The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care. Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned resident under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).

    Knowledge of and delivers age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of the resident as per care plan.A member of the nursing team expected to know, held accountable for following infection prevention and control policies.

    The job requires assisting with basic health needs including bathing toileting grooming dressing/undressing recording vital signs psychosocial support other personal care transferring repositioning walking using correct transfer techniques equipment providing range motion passive exercises completing food preparation dining creating positive experience residents meals snacks supplements water appropriate aiding providers procedures if needed documenting interactions outcomes related resident behavior activity dietary communicating changing condition concern responses charge nurse collecting non-invasive body fluid specimens gathering vital signs housekeeping laundry services assist keeping living areas clean operational participating wellness recreational programs encouraging residents participate departmental organization committees task forces may be required .
