Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a Solutions Architect

to support our Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) program.

As a Solutions Architect

, you will also serve as

a

Chief Engineer

on

both

i

n unclassified and

classified

environments

. In this role, you will be responsible for providing business

,

technical

,

architectural

,

and engineering guidance to development teams, business groups, and customers for existing and new products and services, as well as directing day-to-day activities assigned to your areas of responsibility

,

leveraging direct and indirect team resources

for the ICAM solution

. The solutions architect also develops strategies, business concepts, and technical capabilities that maximize customer value while differentiating GDIT from their competition in the marketplace. This will include technical plans, drawings, white papers, leading technical meetings with both internal and external stakeholders. Your expertise will be relied upon to provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for the defining, designing, and implementing the full lifecycle of products and services. The solutions architect is also responsible for defining a concept of operations and the procedures and tools required to enable delivery of products and services.

You will also c

onduct analysis of alternatives on a variety of solutions to determine the best solutions to support overall business goals and objectives.

HOW AN ICAM SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Work with senior leadership

both internal and external

on planning and executing tasks using Agile methodologies

• Participate in Scrum calls
• Active engagement with the program customer, providing expert guidance and solutioning
• Developing plans, drawings, and briefs
• Supporting

the

business by developing technical and business solutions

• Identifying solutions based on business and technical criteria, analyzes alternatives based on trade space, and implements designs
• Research current and emerging tec

h

nologies and process methodologies and proposing changes and tailoring where needed

• Assess the system and business process architectures currently in place and work with staff to recommend improvements
• Ensure technical architecture teams deliver efficient and effective system solutions to support business goals and objectives
• Develop,

Prepare and present test plan

• Identify customer requirements, analyze

experience)

YEAR'S EXPERIENCE:

• 1

5+ years

of IT experience in engineering and development

• 8+ years of experience in project management/ lead architect positions in Microsoft and/or other software development or implementation
• TECHNICAL SKILLS

:

• Extensive experience with implementing PKI and PIV standards
• Extensive experience

in creating architecture solutions for cloud environments

• Experience with SailPoint

, Radiant Logic, Microsoft, CyberArk

• Experience working in a

fast-paced

Agile environment
