- Evaluate and diagnose mechanical & electrical problems
- Welding & fabrication of repairs
- Examine parts for damage or excessive wear
- Repair or replace damaged or worn heavy-duty parts
- Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and tools
- Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance
- Perform preventative maintenance
- High school diploma or GED – Required
- 2-5 years' experience with heavy duty equipment repair – Preferred
- Completion of a vocational or other post-secondary training program – Preferred
- Trailer body and/or Welding and Fabrication experience – Preferred
- Having your own hand tools is a plus, but not all required (larger equipment/tools will be supplied by Company).
- Ability to operate heavy duty equipment
- Time management
