    PURPOSEThe Western Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing a dedicated sales team, assigned manufacturers reps, and distributors with a strong focus on growing our business relationships within this region.

    In this role our successful candidate will optimize theirresources and provide technical product knowledge to ensure our customers needs are met or exceeded.

    This position may sit in any of the Western US states, but must be in close proximity to a major airport.

    RESPONSIBILITIESManage Manufacturers Representatives in the Western US regionManageand develop theRollon employees assigned to the Western USregionGrow sales in the Western RegionMonitor performance of Rep organization, direct activities and assist with customer development and relationshipsManage High Tech Distributor (HTD) partner business in the sales territory and interface with the HTD sales processTarget key accounts and penetrate themPlan and organize daily work schedule to call on existing and prospective accountsMaster product information / application knowledge through training and personal effortsDirect & guide efforts of sales, technical, customer service and production personnel as necessary to maximize sales opportunitiesDevelop effective sales presentations tailored uniquely to each accountImplement the Rollon selling system and monitor compliance to the systemKeep management informed through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systemManage opportunity list and grow the prospect list.

    Work with Reps to make sure that the CRM system and opportunity list are up to date and accurate.

    Attend Trade ShowsTravel expected to be approximately 50% of the time and includesair, road andovernight tripsBASIC QUALIFICATIONSBacherlor's Degree required (Engineering degree strongly preferred)Prior experience successfully leading a sales teamAt least 7 years of field sales experience, 5 of which must be in the industrial motion or automation industryMust have semi-conductor and/or medical device industry experienceMust be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
