Job summary
This position is responsible for applying sound inventory management tools and techniques in support of Fleet's $8M + parts and materials program. The role includes procurement of stock/nonstock materials; reconciliation of material invoices; inventory management; management of parts related data in Fleet's asset management system; maximizing savings through recommendations regarding consignment and bulk purchasing; ensuring Sarbanes Oxley and environmental compliance; supporting vendor warranties; support of volume procurement, and procurement planning for in-service assets.Responsibilities
