    Key Objective(s):

    The Director of Marketing, Fashion and Luxury will lead the brand, marketing, and cultural programming strategy for American Dream's luxury business. This leader will play a pivotal role in defining how The Avenue engages with its core consumer, how it partners with tenants, and how it creates an atmosphere that reflects new luxury—diverse, experiential, and culturally alive.

    This role requires a strategic and creative marketer with proven experience in luxury, fashion, culture, and lifestyle industries, and a strong understanding of how to reach and influence today's luxury consumer through digital platforms, events, and brand partnerships.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Consumer & Brand Marketing

    • Develop and execute The Avenue's annual brand and marketing plan, aligned with American Dream's overall strategy and creative vision.
    • Define and refine the Avenue's target consumer and create tailored strategies to attract and engage them.
    • Build a robust digital and social media presence that resonates with the Luxury consumer, leveraging storytelling, influencer partnerships, and content innovation.
    • Drive brand awareness and foot traffic through creative campaigns, PR, partnerships, and experiential activations.

    Events & Programming

    • Design and execute a year-round calendar of cultural programming—fashion shows, pop-ups, art installations, performances, and culinary experiences—that differentiates The Avenue from competitors.
    • Partner with external cultural institutions, artists, and brands to co-create unique moments that bring energy and relevance to The Avenue.
    • Collaborate with internal American Dream teams to integrate entertainment, hospitality, and community events into the luxury experience.

    Tenant Engagement & Partnership

    • Act as the primary marketing liaison to Avenue tenants, building strong relationships and helping brands activate effectively within the center.
    • Support tenants with marketing, event planning, and promotional strategies that align with The Avenue's overall positioning.
    • Facilitate cross-brand collaborations and multi-tenant experiences that amplify the Avenue's cultural relevance.

    Atmosphere & Experience

    • Partner with operations, design, and hospitality teams to continuously elevate the in-center experience—ensuring atmosphere, music, visuals, and service align with The Avenue's strategic goals.
    • Implement experiential touchpoints that make every visit unique, joyful, and shareable.
    • Ensure diversity, inclusivity, and multicultural representation are embedded in all Avenue programming and storytelling.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • 8+ years in marketing, brand management, or cultural programming in luxury fashion, retail, lifestyle, or related industries.
    • Deep knowledge of the Luxury consumer: streetwear, fashion, art, music, food, and adjacent cultural spaces.
    • Strong track record of building consumer engagement through social media, influencer strategy, and digital storytelling.
    • Experience leading events and programming that drive both brand relevance and commercial impact.
    • Excellent relationship management skills, with experience collaborating with retail tenants, cultural partners, and creative agencies.
    • Strong strategic, analytical, and project management skills, balanced with creativity and cultural intuition.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset; thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high expectations.
