    Job Responsibilities


    This position is located at Department of Mental Health/Columbia Area Mental Health Center, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Program, CAMHC #413.


    Under general supervision, oversees the administrative operations of the ACT team; provides clinical oversight of services ensuring patients are seen in accordance with their needs and the delivery of best and ethical practices; provides direct services to ACT service beneficiaries; ensures services are documented in accordance to SCDMH/QA requirements.


    Provides direct supervision to ACT team members to include but not limited to: facilitating clinical supervision meetings, treatment team meetings, coordinating training for team and completing evaluations.


    Ensures a department commitment to cultural affairs and ensures all direct reports have a cultural affairs component to his or her planning document as a measurable objective.

    Pursues professional development through collegial consultation, continuing education and licensure.

    Minimum and Additional Requirements

    State Requirements:

    A master's degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field and professional experience in a mental health, or social service program.


    Agency Requirements:

    Licensed as a licensed psychologist, LISW, LPC or LMFT, and two (2) years or more post graduate experience working with adults diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illness.

    If any Agency Requirements are listed, applicants must also meet those requirements to be considered for the position.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Agency Prefers:
    Three (3) or more years of post-graduate counseling experience in a clinical setting.
