    Job Summary:
    Provide network administration and act as a point of escalation for the support team.

    Essential duties and responsibilities:
    Monitoring and maintaining networks and servers.
    Upgrading, installing and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives.
    Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
    Creating user accounts and performing access control
    Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.
    Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving date.
    Developing data retrieval and recovery procedures.
    Designing and implementing efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems.
    Supervising and mentoring IT department employees, as well as proving IT support.
    Keeping to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration.
    Maintain and document scripts and procedures used to enhance existing desktop computer functions.
    Compile, tabulate and generate reports; document procedures and programs; participate in development of written docs/materials.
    May ensure the accuracy of computer reports and date integrity.
    Participates in research and development initiatives and provide assistance in the implementation of new technologies.

    Research, analyze and test application or system software for compatibility and capability to specific job application and assignments; may recommend hardware and software purchases.


    Education and Experience:
    Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or similar.
    At least two years' experience in a similar role.
    Experience with PowerShell scripting, Active Directory, Jira Helpdesk, Citrix, Thin Client devices, Office 365 administration, Lansweeper, and TeamViewer preferred.

    Skills and Abilities:
    Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies,
    Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
    Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    Physical Requirements:
    May occasionally be required to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
