    The Director, Human Resources (TMTT) will have full accountability for creating, influencing, and executing on human capital strategies for TMTT's Clinical Affairs, Medical Affairs and Finance organizations.

    How you will make an impact:

    • Drive HR strategies as an expert on people and organizational issues, as well as being a catalyst in delivering HR solutions to attract, develop, and retain talent and to support the specific needs of the business groups and overall business objectives.
    • Guide, influence, evaluate, and develop teams of business professionals to ensure the HR strategy is implemented effectively.
    • Develop robust talent plans in alignment with functional growth strategies of the respective organizations.
    • Proactively assess and diagnose organizational issues in partnership with management, to make recommendations and implement talent solutions to advance accountable businesses accordingly.
    • Function as a strategic thought partner for assigned client group(s), countries and/or regions to develop and implement human resource strategy to achieve current and future business objectives.
    • Initiate, support and/or lead organizational development strategies, including change management, conflict resolution, teambuilding, executive coaching, intervention, and/or other necessary strategies.
    • Partner closely with Edwards HR Centers of Expertise and HR Solutions in devising strategic org and talent plans and overseeing execution efforts related to - talent acquisition, training and development, employee relations, leadership coaching and compensation matters.
    • Partner with HR Management or COE's to evaluate the organization's future workforce needs to
    • recommend changes to the HR strategy and adapt existing HR programs to meet these needs.
    • Participate in the interview/selection of talent in assigned client groups and perform compensation analysis to drive competitive offers.
    • Proactively analyze trends and metrics to identify training needs or individual executive coaching needs for assigned client group(s) and partners with COE's or Shared Service groups to develop solutions, programs and policies and participate in evaluation and monitoring of training and coaching programs to ensure success

    What you'll need (Required):

    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 12 years experience of Human Resources experience, OR Master's Degree in a related field and 10 years experience of Human Resources experience

    • Expert knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance
    • Expert knowledge of local and federal employment laws in one or more areas
    • Expert negotiation and conflict resolution skills
    • Excellent leadership skills and ability to influence change
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the organization
    • Effective level of business literacy about the client group(s) business, financial position, its midrange plans, its culture, and competition
    • Strict attention to detail
    • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels while establishing a positive reputation
    • Ability to navigate challenging forces in the fast-paced and dynamic environment
    • Represents leadership on projects within multiple areas, interfacing with project managers, human resources team and upper management
    • Consult in project setting within multiple human resources areas
    • Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

    For California, the base pay range for this position is $138,000 to $195,000 (highly experienced).
