    Position: Case's past success and a well-planned growth strategy have created a need to add to our engineering team.

    Control Engineers: are involved in all stages of control system projects. Each project entails Allen Bradley PLC and HMI programming, electrical design engineering, system testing, and system commissioning. This includes the realization implementation of compressed air control systems as well as being involved in ongoing Product Development activities. Project Management experience is a plus. The job requires approximately traveling 25% of the time.

    Controls Engineer responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

    • Develop electrical and controls system design solutions based on engineering principles and involvement
    • Provide system training and technical support to customers.
    • Resolve operational problems related to projects and minimize delays or unexpected cost increases.
    • Responsible for project success whether as project leader or as part of a project team.
    • Interpret client requirements, and identify and address design parameters and engineering problems.
    • Analyze project requirements and perform technical calculations supporting design including electrical requirements, and motor controls.
    • Create and finalize designs to meet project requirements.
    • Define equipment and parts from external suppliers.
    • Conduct cost and time estimation.
    • Electrical design of customized solutions including manufacturing automation and safety systems.
    • Allen Bradley PLC and HMI software development
    • Create customer documentation such as user manuals, programming diagrams, network diagrams, and electrical drawings.
    • Commission customized products and systems onsite at customer facilities.
    • Provide high-quality pre-sales, design-in, and post-sales technical support to customers.
    • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, technical competence, and outstanding safety performance.
    • Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
    Requirements

    Qualifications/Requirements:
    • 3-5 years related job experience.
    • Proficient with AutoCAD for electrical panel design.
    • Proficient with Rockwell Automation software including RSLogix500, Studio5000, FT View Enterprise
    • Strong fundamental knowledge of control and electrical system design and its application in automated industrial designs.
    • Experience with industrial communication networks (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, BACnet, etc.)
    • Efficiently organize and plan work tasks to meet company goals.
    • Critical thinking with exceptional problem-solving skills, able to work independently and in team
    • Proactive, resourceful & highly motivated with good communication skills and ability to work in high output environment.
    • Ability to balance multiple projects.
