    Description

    Job Title:

    Transportation Driver (PRN)

    About the Role:

    This position supports our mission and values by performing daily duties of resident transportation and vehicle care, per job standards, as directed by the Director of Housing in accordance with prescribed procedures and policies of the facility and Federal, State and local authorities, to ensure that quality nursing services are provided at all times.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Respects and shows kindness to all residents.
    • Ensures vehicles are free of hazardous debris.
    • Maintains confidentiality of residents' information and protects their rights.
    • Fulfills standard nursing care requirements and adheres to facility policies and procedures.
    • Reports pertinent information to the Director of Housing and support staff.
    • Maintains work areas in accordance with facility safety policies.
    • Performs daily tasks following infection control and standard precaution policies and procedures.
    • Follows policies related to body mechanics and positioning.
    • Ambulates residents according to individual plans of care.
    • Schedules medical appointments and attends to residents during transport.

    Requirements:

    • Must be at least 21 years old.
    • Hold a current and valid Ohio State Driver's License.
