- Verifying each day's schedule, ensuring that they are adequately staffed, to operate in a safe and functional environment.
- Organizing and leading the load-in, and load-out, coordinating all technical and artistic equipment is being handled within San Diego County Fair guidelines.
- Ensure that the performance venue provides a safe environment for optimal audience comfort and artistic quality.
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures set forth by the San Diego County Fair.
- Liaison between venue and artist to ensure all production needs are met and the agreement is being adhered to.
- Responsible for solving any production issues that may arise at any given time in the show timeline.
- 3-5 years of related work experience.
- Working knowledge of technical aspects of concert production.
- Ability to solve logistical and technical problems including staging, lighting, sound.
- Work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, organizational skills, quick learner, ability to multi-task, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of office equipment including computers and applicable software applications.
- Excellent customer service, communication skills, and team player.
- Good judgement and professionalism.
- Works in a standard office setting operating standard office equipment.
- Potentially work outside as well.
- Could be asked to walk long distances.
- Pushes and pulls file drawers.
- Moves objects up to 20 pounds.
- Involves some exposure to hazards or physical risk that require following safety precautions.
- Works a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
