    Job Requirements

    Education Requirements:
    Valid Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure in Illinois

    Certifications Requirements:
    AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

    Experience Requirements:
    Minimum of 2+ years of acute care hospital experience as a registered nurse

    Other Requirements:
    Ability to perform phlebotomy, read and interpret strips, and manage change effectively; resilient, social, and hard-working with strong communication skills

    Job Responsibilities

    Provide direct patient care in the Medical-Surgical unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
    Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders and established protocols
    Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
    Document patient information and nursing activities thoroughly in Meditech electronic medical records
    Respond promptly to patient needs, monitor vital signs, and manage emergencies as required
