- Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, possibly taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.

Under the supervision of an RN, the CNA performs basic patient care activities.

Responsibilities of the Position:
Minimum Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program is required.
Certifications/Licenses
Certifications:
Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) is required through American Heart Association (AHA) within 30 days of hire.
Required SkillsCritical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
