    Virtus Healthcare Staffing Seeks Telemetry RN for Level II Trauma Center in Everett, WA



    About Virtus Healthcare Staffing:

    Virtus Healthcare Staffing is excited to partner with a leading Level II Trauma Center in Everett, WA to find a top-notch Registered Nurse (RN) for their Telemetry Unit.

    About the Opportunity:

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and compassionate RN to join a dynamic team at a respected Level II Trauma Center. You will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients recovering from cardiac events and other critical conditions requiring close monitoring.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assess, monitor, and document the condition of patients in the telemetry unit, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and pain levels.
    • Interpret data from telemetry equipment, including electrocardiograms (ECGs).
    • Identify and report any changes in a patient's condition that might indicate a potential complication.
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
    • Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, and discharge instructions.
    • Collaborate effectively with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
    • Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
    • Document all nursing care activities in the electronic medical record (EMR).

    Qualifications and Credentials:

    • Active and unrestricted Washington State RN license
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a telemetry or critical care unit
    • Strong clinical skills in assessment, monitoring, and documentation
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills
    • Ability to prioritize effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment
    • ACLS and BLS certifications required
    • Experience with trauma patients a plus
