Job summary
The Broward County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Contracts Manager (Purchasing Manager classification) to help develop and supervise the newly established Vendor Management Office (VMO) section within the Purchasing Division.This new role is charged with leading a newly established VMO to establish a program for the organized and systematic management of the County's overall, enterprise-wide, procurement contracts.
Supervising staff will ensure assigned responsibilities are completed accurately and on time; reviews agenda reports being submitted to the Board of County Commissioners for quality control.
