    Job Title: Senior Frontend Engineer (React/TypeScript)

    Join our dynamic team at a leading SaaS ecommerce company based in Boston, where innovation and technology intersect to shape the future of online retail. We're dedicated to providing cutting-edge ecommerce solutions to our clients, and we're seeking a talented Senior Frontend Engineer to drive the development of our frontend applications.

    Position Overview:

    As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our SaaS ecommerce platform. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll leverage your expertise in React and TypeScript to develop and enhance our frontend applications. While any backend experience with is a plus, this role primarily focuses on frontend responsibilities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to translate design mockups and requirements into high-quality frontend solutions.
    • Develop and maintain scalable and reusable components and libraries using React and TypeScript.
    • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for performance and responsiveness.
    • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and adhere to best practices for frontend development.
    • Contribute to occasional backend development tasks using , gaining exposure to full-stack development (backend experience is a plus but not required).

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • 7+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with a strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
    • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
    • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming concepts.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
    • Enthusiasm for learning and staying updated on the latest frontend technologies and best practices.

    Location:

    This position is based in Boston, Massachusetts. While the role primarily involves onsite work, we offer flexibility with a hybrid model, allowing remote work 2-3 times per week.
