  • Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and reliability improvements during pilot and demo operations
  • Prepare technical documentation for each scale-up phase, including drawings, specifications, and test procedures
  • Conduct arc flash studies, grounding system design, and short-circuit analysis for safety and reliability at increasing power levels
  • Manage vendor relationships for electrical equipment procurement and installation across multiple project phases
  • Manage relationship with local utilities
  • Contribute to energy-efficiency and sustainability initiatives, including renewable energy integration and load optimization for commercial facilities
  • Autonomously lead projects and/or small teams while collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and outside agencies as needed
  • Familiarity with D/FMEA and PHA, and other failure analysis processes
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including design specifications, operating procedures, and safety protocols
  • Read, understand, and comply with all workplace health and safety policies, safe work practices, and company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

  • Advanced experience with instrumentation such as voltage, amperage, temperature, pressure, level, weight, and flow
  • Familiarity with high voltage and low voltage electrical design and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in ETAP, SKM, Revit, or similar electrical modeling software
  • Strong knowledge of power system protection, grounding, and fault analysis for multi-phase scale-up projects
  • Familiarity with hazardous area classifications and safety standards
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration during rapid scale-up
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills
  • Experience and/or interest in mentoring more junior control systems engineers
  • Proficiency with, or ability to quickly learn, Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint
