- Minimum 5 years of experience in a production environment
- Demonstrated leadership skills, report writing, effective communication, and ability to drive improvements towards company objectives and department KPIs
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Preferred Associates (or higher) degree with focus on basic mathematics, written communications, or computer operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MRP systems, and relevant software
- Report to the (Process) Engineering Manager and HR Director
- Check and reconcile daily work orders
- Oversee TPM Tricorders and label machines
- Train new employees on plant safety, labor hour tracking, and Tricorder usage
- Monitor and analyze work metrics for continuous improvement
- Manage the Piece Rate System and provide relevant reports
- Enhance safety protocols to prevent injuries
- Enforce safety regulations and conduct regular plant safety inspections
- Implement safety training for new employees and ensure compliance with company policies
- Handle first aid and CPR as the company's First Responder
- Collaborate with COO to track safety KPIs and implement safety improvements
- Optimize PPE inventory and safety equipment practices
- Maintain accurate records of employee movements within the plant
- Audit the plant 5S program and provide feedback to Maintenance Manager
- Coordinate payroll with order entry and HR regarding piece rates
- Complete accident reports and communicate with HR Director and senior management
- Assist in safety-related employee disciplinary actions and document filing
- Support managers with labor balancing and provide data for payroll processing
- Offer guidance on safety practices, PPE usage, and labor timing
- Conduct inventory counts and report findings to Customer Service Manager
