    About the Role:

    Job Title:
    Mumps Infrastructure Engineer


    Key Responsibilities:
    Designing and implementing infrastructure solutions to support Mumps-based applications, including servers, databases, networks, and storage systems.

    Configuring and optimizing Mumps database environments for performance and reliability.

    Monitoring system performance and proactively addressing issues to ensure uptime and responsiveness.

    Collaborating with software developers to optimize Mumps application performance and scalability.

    Implementing security best practices to protect Mumps systems and data from unauthorized access and breaches.

    Automating routine tasks and processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

    Documenting infrastructure configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

    Participating in on-call rotations to provide support for Mumps infrastructure issues outside of regular business hours.

    Staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends related to Mumps and healthcare IT infrastructure.


    Qualifications:
    Proven experience designing, implementing, and supporting infrastructure for Mumps-based systems.

    Proficiency in Mumps programming language and database concepts.

    Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols.

    Experience with virtualization and cloud computing platforms (e.g., VMware, AWS, Azure).

    Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for automation and infrastructure as code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).

    Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

    Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

    Healthcare industry experience (preferred but not required).

    Location:
    McLean, VA / Plano, TX / Richmond, Va and open for Remote folks as well

    Salary Range:
    The salary for this position is between $120,000 – $140,000 annually.


    Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
