    Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations, in Washington, District of Columbia.

    This is a non-bargaining unit position.



    Duties


    As an Operations Research Analyst, you will perform the following duties:

    • Apply advanced concepts of operations research, statistics, and computer science in solving a variety of complex problems germane to law enforcement systems and operations; business and management processes; as well as mission support programs.
    • Responsible for implementing, coordinating, and/or overseeing a variety of management programs or activities impacting organizational activities or operations. The position will conduct studies, surveys and project reviews to support and develop, implement, track, evaluate and refine business and management processes.
    • Develop and implement programmatic performance tools to track and measure organizational progress and success in filling requirement gaps in support of mission, goals, priorities, objective and timelines as documented in the Acquisition Life Cycle (ALC) requirements documents.
    • Develop and leverage functional knowledge and understanding of strategic guidance to include but not limited to: DHS Quadrennial Homeland Security Review (QHSR), DHS Resource Planning Guidance (RPG), Presidential Executive Orders, National Security Directives, ICE Strategic Plan and yearly goals and priorities in order to align and track goals and requirements to strategic priorities to support the implementation of long-range planning objectives covering operational and administrative aspects of the organization and other assigned areas.
