    Description


    Reporting to the Director of Digital and Integrative Systems, the Data Analyst is passionate about data and its power to inform and drive decision making.

    This role involves working with various data sources and systems to collect, analyze, and report data that supports the college's objectives.

    The Data Analyst will play a key role in optimizing our operations and improving our strategies through insightful data analysis.


    The Data Analyst brings knowledge of, and experience with, evaluating and solving business challenges by collecting, reviewing, analyzing information to make sound recommendations.

    Adheres to established departmental policies and procedures and provides excellent customer service standards in accordance with the mission and purpose of the University.

    Collect and compile data from various sources, including the

    SIS ,

    CRM ,

    ERP , and other relevant systems.
    Perform data cleaning and preprocessing to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
    Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
    Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support operational and strategic decision-making.
    Work closely with stakeholders across departments to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
    Assist in the implementation of data governance and quality control measures.
    Participate in the development and execution of data analysis projects, ensuring alignment with the college's goals.
    Provide support in data management and analytics tools and techniques training to staff as needed.
    Maintains established department policies, procedures and attends in-services and other required meetings.
    Maintains confidentiality of all student, co-worker, and/or company information as required.
    Exercises care, proper use and maintenance of department equipment and supplies and identifies unsafe conditions and makes appropriate adjustments.
    Maintains order, cleanliness, and safety at work.
    Cross trains on other departmental/related systems to provide coverage as assigned in the absence of other business analysts.
    Other Job Duties

    Required Qualifications

    Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, information technology, or related field.

    Preferred Qualifications
    Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as

    SQL , Python, or R.
    Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
    Strong analytical skills.
    Excellent problem-solving skills.
    Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    A keen interest in working in an educational environment and contributing to the success of the institution.
    Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
    Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
    Ability to convey complex data in a clear and concise manner.
