We are on the hunt for a dynamic, motivated, and highly skilled Permanent Maintenance Electrician to join our thriving manufacturing industry team.
This role is perfect for a problem-solving professional with a strong background in electrical systems maintenance and industrial equipment maintenance.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in our organization, ensuring the smooth operation of our production line by carrying out preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and PLC programming.
FIRST SHIFT

As a Permanent Maintenance Electrician, your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring the seamless operation of electrical systems and machinery within the manufacturing plant.
Carrying out routine checks and preventive maintenance on all electrical systems to avoid breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults on a range of electrical and mechanical equipment.
Programming and maintaining PLCs to ensure the optimal operation of automated systems.
Responding promptly to all system failures and carrying out immediate repairs to minimize downtime.
Collaborating with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.
Conducting regular safety checks on all equipment and systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Training staff on equipment operating procedures and potential hazards associated with equipment use.
Keeping up-to-date with advancements in manufacturing systems and technologies to ensure the continuous improvement of maintenance processes.
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Electrician in the manufacturing industry.
Proven experience in electrical systems maintenance, industrial equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and PLC programming.
A relevant degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
