    Inventory Specialist Summary

    Full-time | Monday-Friday | First shift, 6:00 am-2:30 pm- hours may fluctuate depending upon workload | Overtime available

    Responsible for all aspects of inventory management, ensuring inventory accuracy, researching discrepancies, strategic inventory placement, replenishment, and following up with associates when errors are identified. The specialist will work closely with warehouse manager on recommending process improvements and updating SOPs accordingly.

    Inventory Specialist Duties
    • Responsible for accuracy of all in-bound shipments. Checks supplier's counts and reports discrepancies to carrier and supervisor
    • Maintains other shipping records such as returned merchandise, damage, discrepancies, etc.
    • Verify inventory levels through daily system cycle counts against physical counts
    • Replenish warehouse primary pick locations to capacity
    • Condense product to maximize warehouse density and pick efficiency
    • Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse
    • Manage and maintain backorder reports
    • Process damages
    • Responsible for ensuring accurate receipt/shipment and appropriate handling of merchandise
    • Other duties as assigned by management
    Required Qualifications
    • At least 2 years of inventory control and SKU management experience
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and RF / Android-based scanning devices
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Ability to perform light to heavy physical tasks; able to lift 50 lbs. safely
    • Exposure to environmental conditions (e.g. heat/cold; noise and dust)
    • Exposure to heights
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Previous warehouse and forklift experience a plus
    • Eclipse Warehouse Management System background a plus
