Overview

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Denver is seeking a highly skilled Grant Writer to join our team. As a Grant Writer, you will play a critical role in securing funding for our programs and services that support the most vulnerable members of our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and write grant proposals to private and public funders, highlighting the impact and effectiveness of our programs
• Develop and maintain relationships with program managers and accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely reporting on grants
• Coordinate internal reviews of grant agreements and contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions
• Meet regularly with program managers and funder representatives to discuss program needs and priorities
• Stay up-to-date on grant opportunities and trends, attending informational meetings and webinars as needed

Requirements

• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling, and persuasive proposals
• Excellent verbal communication skills, with experience interacting with diverse audiences
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with grant sources and proposal writing best practices
• Previous experience in non-profit fundraising and research, preferably in a similar role

Education and Experience

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, and research. Non-profit experience is preferred.

Benefits and Compensation
