    K-Designers / Great Day Improvements - Recruiter

    K-Designers operates its own recruiting department. The effective function of our Recruiting operation is critical to growing our company. Our Home Office and each Branch Office relies upon the K-Designers Recruiting Department to provide quality candidates who show up eager to hear exciting information and details about our great opportunity for a various of openings on an as needed basis in a prompt manner.

    If you are an ambitious individual with excellent communication skills and experience in recruiting, join the K-Designers & Great Day Improvements: A Family of Brands team We are looking for a motivated Recruiter with excellent time management skills to serve as Recruiter for multiple roles with a strong focus on the home improvement industry (sales/operations).

    This role will support west coast locations: Job location: Sharonville, OH (Champion Windows) & Shift: 10 am to 7 pm and/or 11 am to 8 pm EST (on-site / hybrid role - 2 days in office / 3 days home)

    Responsibilities:

    Create and maintain a talent pipeline and strategy for our Sales/Operations positions as well as other key positions

    Make recommendations about K-Designers recruiting strategy and assist in corporate recruiting efforts and campaigns

    Build applicant sources through colleges, networking, job fairs, database searches, social media; provide organization information, opportunities, and benefits

    Support K-Designers employment branding efforts

    Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications

    Attract applicants by placing job advertisements, using job sites, and other social media

    Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements

    Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules

    Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interview applicants on consistent set of qualifications

    Avoid legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training

    Other HR projects as assigned

    Qualifications:

    1 to 3 years recruiting experience preferred

    Excellent communication skills, oral and written

    Strong interpersonal skills

    Solid attendance record

    Experience in Microsoft Suite

    Strong organizational skills

    Ability to coach hiring managers in the recruiting process
