We are seeking an energetic and strategic leader to serve as the General Manager for our Commercial Roofing division. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all facets of the roofing operations, driving growth, ensuring project excellence, and fostering a safety-first culture. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of commercial roofing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet quality standards, deadlines, and budget expectations.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to expand market share and increase revenue within the commercial roofing sector.
• Oversee estimating processes, including construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation to accurately bid on projects.
• Supervise project managers, foremen, and field crews to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and tools such as hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, caulking equipment, and heavy lifting gear to support efficient job site operations.
• Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication, project updates, and exceptional service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations related to construction sites, roofing practices, heavy lifting procedures, and use of specialized equipment like welding or masonry tools.
• Promote continuous improvement by implementing best practices in construction estimating, fabrication techniques, carpentry (including trim carpentry), metal stud framing, stucco application, tile laying, restoration work, plumbing integration, masonry work, welding tasks, and remodeling projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction management with a focus on commercial roofing or related fields such as framing, masonry, or restoration.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and blueprint reading skills.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, caulking methods, framing carpentry (including metal studs), tile laying, welding techniques, masonry work and remodeling projects.
• Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings relevant to roofing systems and construction components.
• Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards on busy construction sites.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients, vendors, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting and performing tasks requiring manual dexterity at various job sites.
