Sr. Payroll Analyst
Location:
Minnetonka, MN (100% onsite role located in Minnesota, only local candidates will be eligible)
Pay Rate:
$80,000 - $90,000 / Year dependent on applicable experience
Benefits:

Our client is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst with hands‑on expertise in UKG/UltiPro to support multi‑state payroll processing, compliance, and system optimization.
Responsibilities:
Process and audit multi‑state, multi‑entity payroll in UKG with a high level of accuracy
Review and reconcile payroll data, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Analyze payroll trends, identify discrepancies, and recommend process improvements
Support payroll tax filings, wage adjustments, and benefit deductions
Partner with HR, Finance, and leadership teams to resolve payroll‑related issues
Assist with system testing, configuration updates, and UKG enhancement projects
Prepare payroll reports, dashboards, and metrics for leadership review
Maintain employee payroll records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive data
Qualifications:
UKG/UltiPro experience required
3–6+ years of payroll experience, preferably in mid‑size or multi‑location environments
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, wage laws, garnishments, and tax requirements
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v‑lookups, reconciliation support)
Experience with payroll reporting and data analysis
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
