    About the position:


    Who are we looking for?


    Our ideal Nurse Practitioner should be detail oriented, a team player, and have great time management skills. Their aim should be to provide the best care possible, not only going above and beyond for the patient but also have good time management abilities as you will be expected to see 18-20 patients per day. They must possess great communication skills since they will be answering questions and explaining care to patients and their families. At our practice, patients are the center of the universe and made to feel that way so our ideal candidate must share the same values and standard of care. Our ideal candidate must be experienced as an NP in nursing home settings. This is M-F 8hr day shifts plus on-call every 3rd weekend. During the week they will only be on-call for their own patients, and contractually be on-call for 1 holiday per year.


    The assigned facility will be a hospital-like setting with a high patient population. The nurse practitioner will be administering intensive care and treatment, at times it will be similar to an ICU setting with the goal of preventing hospitalization.


    Here's a few requirements for our Nurse Practitioner:


    - Knowledge of SNF protocols and guidelines

    - Flexible with schedule and able to work on call as needed

    - Knowledge in Primary Care treatment

    - Completion of notes and submission of documentation, able to meet deadlines when notes and documentation are required

    - Able to handle a high caseload (est patients per day)

    - Ability to work under pressure and time constraints

    - Licensed and Board Certified New York Nurse Practitioner

    - Must possess DEA certification

    - 2 Years experience is required


    Compensation:

    $130,000 - $155,000 Annually depending on experience

    This position is FULL TIME. Monday - Friday
