    The Signers' Business Office (SBO) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks is looking for a Human Resources (HR) Coordinator. The SBO team offers financial and human resources services to support our programs, faculty, staff, and students. We are seeking applicants with a strong understanding of human resources policies and procedures for this exciting opportunity.

    As a Human Resources Coordinator you will oversee recruitments, update employment records, verify timesheets and payroll records. You must have excellent communication skills to work with a collaborative team of HR coordinators, faculty, staff and students. Providing timely guidance and support is imperative to our departments day to day operations.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Minimum two years progressive experience in human resource related activities. Specifically automated financial and personnel systems, with the ability to interpret any apply HR regulations.

    Position Details:

    This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and a full employee benefits package . UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA staff salary schedule , Grade 77, based on education and experience.
