    Description

    Are you someone who loves to create detailed spreadsheets and accurately translate financial data into Quickbooks? Are you interested in leveraging your expertise to contribute to the healthcare sector in the Philadelphia biotech field? INTEGRAL MOLECULAR, Inc., a mid-sized biotech company in Philadelphia, focuses on discovering and characterizing therapeutic antibodies. We are seeking a new team member to join our Finance department. Reporting to the Controller, you will have a key role in managing accounts payable and receivable, along with responsibilities such as monitoring aging accounts and assisting with grant funding and financial audits.

    This is a full-time role located at our office in the University City area of Philadelphia.

    What you'll be responsible for at Integral Molecular:
    Accounts Payable:
    • Reviewing invoices to ensure proper documentation before processing payments.
    • Accurately entering invoice and general ledger data.
    • Assigning and submitting invoices for approval.
    • Reconciling monthly statements with suppliers.
    • Handling employee expense reimbursements.
    • Tracking and categorizing credit card charges and receipts using Ramp.
    • Conducting credit card reconciliations.
    • Improving Customer File Management.
    Accounts Receivable:
    • Maintaining and updating customer records, including new setups and contact information in various systems.
    • Generating and submitting invoices per company procedures.
    • Verifying and recording customer payments and related transactions in accounts receivable.
    • Producing reports on customer account statuses as needed.
    • Resolving customer discrepancies and overdue balances.
    • Preparing communications for standard past-due accounts and collections.

    The ideal candidate will possess:
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting or business preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
    • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience (including internships and part-time roles).
    • Familiarity with accounting principles (GAAP) and Quickbooks.
    • Proficiency in Office 365 tools, especially Excel.
    • Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong interpersonal communication abilities.
    • Capability to work autonomously with excellent time management skills.
    • Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus, though not mandatory.
