    Job Description


    American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist competent in both PET and general nuclear medicine, with experience on Siemens and Philips equipment.

    Responsibilities

    • 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital
    • Nuclear Medicine department; general nuclear medicine focus (no cardiac)
    • Day shift, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
    • Rotating on-call weeks required for emergency cases
    • Equipment includes Siemens PET CT and Siemens and Philips nuclear medicine cameras
    • Epic EMR experience preferred
    • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
    • Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
    • No travel pairs or groups accepted
    • Royal blue or khaki scrubs required
    • Up to 3 days of RTO may be approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation

    Requirements

    • NMTCB and PET certifications required
    • Proficiency in both PET and general nuclear medicine required
    • Hands-on experience with Siemens PET CT and Siemens/Philips nuclear medicine cameras
    • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
    • License required if applicable
