Job summary
The Vertical Marketing Manager is responsible for executing marketing efforts for safety products related to the Industrial channel. They will collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing teams by leveraging an in-depth knowledge of product offerings to conceptualize and implement segmented marketing initiatives that reach end-users and drive conversions through PIP distributor channels.Responsibilities
- Situation Analysis: industry market trends competitive SWOT define target audiences markets verticals product portfolios for growth
- Business Intelligence gather end-user insights conduct market research trends competitor research
- Developing Vertical-Focused Marketing Strategies and Marketing Plans lead development of marketing strategies in collaboration with Product Management PM determine which platforms to communicate through adapt campaigns accordingly execute vertical annual marketing event strategies in collaboration with Marketing Communications Sales PM Design Target Persona Mapping develop personas based on research insights best reach target distributor end-user audiences Strengthening VOC End-Users Distributors in Vertical Strategies Programs be voice customer vertical drive engagement relevant product portfolio solutions leverage PIP head-to-toe PPE expertise Align with Product Sales Managers PSMs Business Development Managers BDMs PMs develop curated portfolios growth programs priority verticals Partner with Marketing Communication Specialist non-ABM sales requests prioritize support needed by vertical Vertical Thought Leadership AdvertisingCommunication Strategy partner Marketing Communications develop advertising strategies plans work create thought leadership strategy position PIP trusted safety advisor Develop key sales tools collateral catalogs sell sheets digital marketing initiatives participate impactful presentations training deliver successful programs Plan national tradeshow efforts related target verticales Work closely within team collaborate PM Sales teams experiential activities key verticales Core SkillsCompetency Requirements Bachelor degree business administration or related field MBA preferred minimum years experience working lead role industrial products understanding industrial market verticales Demonstrates attention detail impeccable organizational skills ability understand translations unique value propositions impactful content sense urgency results deadline-oriented proven track record managing completing multiple projects simultaneously time budget strong analytical skills work independently team environment capable influencing internal external stakeholders written communication Experience Microsoft Office CRM MAS LMS systems social media platforms
