    Position: Outpatient Clinical Coordinator

    The outpatient coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Outpatient Counseling Program. The two primary responsibilities for this position are to maintain a caseload of clients provided by the agency, and also provide administrative supervision to outpatient program therapists. The outpatient coordinator is responsible for vetting all new clients and distributing referrals obtained by the agency to the appropriate IMPACT staff therapists. This position must ensure the quality of therapeutic care provided by IMPACT staff to ensure the well-being of children, adults, and families seeking counseling services. This person must have the organizational and leadership skills to supervise staff and direct the program toward growth and expansion.

    Persons Supervised: All outpatient staff and counseling interns

    Working Hours: Monday through Friday (hours are flexible). Times will vary to meet the needs of the program and the clients. Some evenings will be required during activities and/or counseling sessions.

    Qualifications: Requires Master's Degree as a minimum qualification in clinical field (i.e. LPC, LMFT, or LICSW). This person must be licensed by the state board. This person must have experience managing an outpatient caseload as well as management experience.

    Primary Job Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all aspects of the Outpatient Program
    • Supervise IMPACT Outpatient employees, volunteers, and support staff;
    • Possess the management skills to perform and delegate responsibilities.
    • Assess intake documentation to distribute cases to other therapists.
    • Assess client information or client distribution of cases to other therapists.
    • Assess other therapists' skills and experience to aid in the management of outpatient cases.
    • Possess knowledge of the Electronic Medical Health Records system.
    • Possess knowledge of third-party billing systems such as (Blue Cross, United, Viva, etc).
    • Provide leadership, guidance, and training to staff and volunteers.
    • Provide counseling supervision to staff that serve children, teens, couples, and families.
    • Assist with promotional activities/events for the outpatient program to procure the acquisition of new clients for the agency.
    • Evaluate and report on program effectiveness and measurable outcomes and maintain program data and reporting for the agency.
    • Requires oversight and supervision over all clinical and therapeutic staff
    • Knowledge of DSM V disorders and other pertinent issues
    • Knowledge of the ethics/laws regarding state licensure, knowledge of appropriate documentation, reporting, and confidentiality.
    • Skill in discernment and therapeutic theory and intervention.
    • Ability to hold appropriate boundaries with clients
    • Ability to assess and interpret clients' presenting affect
    • Ability to make critical decisions based on input from multiple sources.
    • Ability to make critical decisions on behalf of the treatment team
    • Ability to lead the clinical team and treatment team.
    • Aids in crisis intervention outside of regularly scheduled therapy sessions as needed.
    • Creates and adjusts a master treatment plan for each of his/her students.
    • Instructs co-workers on disorders, issues, and therapeutic techniques, as a part of the company-wide training program.
    • Hold clinical staffing meetings and attend management meetings
    • Leads treatment team and makes related decisions.
    • Oversee program evaluations with therapists
    • Hire and train new therapists and provide ongoing training in the clinical department.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year
