    ENTACT is actively seeking an experienced Contract Administrator in our Dallas or Chicago location.

    *Position Summary: The Contract Administrator is a critical role as ENTACT prepares for significant future growth and opportunity. The Contract Administrator will engage and support internal stakeholders and external contractors, customers, and others to review and manage a wide variety of contracts that ensure legal sufficiency, maintain compliance, and ensure timely resolution of contract matters. This role provides behind the scenes support across the organization, by delivering timely contracts and agreements, strengthening financial and risk management practices, maintaining essential databases and files, and ensuring contracts and program goals are well aligned. The Contract Administrator possesses knowledge of procurement regulations, contract agreements, and legal terminology, and shares that knowledge with the organization.


    This individual will be managing a wide variety of contracts, grants, and agreements, thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess the ability to balance competing needs, and want to help build a Contracts program at a growing organization.

    This candidate will be a self-starter able to see what needs to be done and act on it with superb attention to detail.

    This individual will be impeccably organized, will have robust collaboration and problem-solving skills, and will use their knowledge and skills to further ENTACT's growth.

    *Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Conduct initial intake of Contract request packages and ensure documents are complete, approvals are obtained and routed for review & execution in the contracts management system.
    • Manages the routine contract function, including review and routing of contract documents, amendments, renewals; communicating with internal and external customers and vendors; maintaining contract files and databases.
    • Drafts, reviews, and edits standard contracts/provisions and ancillary documents between the organization and potential partners, contractors, grantors, and vendors.
    • Obtain routine NDA and confidentiality documents and other contractor diligence documents.
    • Highlight and elevate nonstandard terms and conditions with suggested alternatives and solutions.
    • Set up and maintain electronic databases and document management systems for contract and grant records, correspondence, and other material.
    • Reviews and monitors contracts metrics, deliverables, and timelines
    • Manage regular and ad hoc reporting and tracking efforts.
    • Be responsible for ENTACT's Portal System Administration with various customers (systems such as Ariba, Taluia, Couple, etc.) by ensuring that the information in these systems is current and accurate and assigning Operations in using and accessing these systems as required.
    *Job requirements:

    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in contract management, contract administration, grant management or the paralegal field
    • Knowledge of contractual language, agreement types, standards, and terminology
    • Service oriented and enjoys managing administrative and compliance processes in service of the organization's mission
    • Excellent communication and analytical skills
    • Possess strong organization skills and the ability to balance competing needs with aplomb
    • Ability to negotiate elements of the contract with an appropriate level of judgment, including ability to identify, analyze, and suggest solutions for contractual and compliance concerns
    • A high level of computer literacy and experience and proficiency with Google Docs, Adobe, Microsoft Office, Financial Management and Contract Lifecycle Management systems
    • Degree in Business or related field is preferred but not required.
