Job summary
The Eaton's North American Sales team is seeking a Presales Engineering Manager for the Channel Solutions Engineering team.This hybrid role will be based out of our Arden, NC facility.
Provide technical leadership and product expertise to the Presales Engineers and across Distributed Infrastructure Sales Develop best practices for overall team strategy and execution Drive the strategic direction and continous improvement of key metric & performance Work with customers to resolve issues in technical or sales escalations Hire train develop and evaluate direct reports Develop analyze & report on key performance indicators of direct reports to the Senior Manager of Channel Sales Engineering Assess channel sales engineering coverage of specific channel customers based off volume and market trends and adjust as necessary Collaborate with key sales management to drive cross-functional engagement Advise the Senior Manager of Channel Sales Engineering on strategic opportunities emerging competitive threats voiceofcustomer Coordinate with the Regional Solutions Engineering Manager to develop best-practices procedures to maximize inter-departmental efficiency Optimize channel alignment with sales management to maximize multi-department effciency Provide oversighttotheSalesMarketingSupervisorofEatonCareCustomerSupportontheexecutionandstrategicdirectionofthePresalesDepartment Provide a single point of contacttokeysalesmanagementtoreolvesalesescalationsorcustomersatisfactionissues Communicate regularlywithdirectreportsonattainmentofkeyperformanceindicatorsareasofimprovementandcareerdevelopment Communicatecollaborateregularlywithsalesleadersonconstructivefeedbackgapanalysisandmethodstot further support grow their business
