- Evaluate patients' functional abilities and limitations to develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' independence in daily activities, mobility, and functional skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and home exercise programs
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies
- Stay abreast of current research and best practices in occupational therapy to enhance treatment effectiveness and patient outcomesQualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- CPR certification and other relevant credentials as required
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
