- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and eligibility for special education services.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
- Provide counseling and support to students to address emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective strategies for addressing students' needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and make recommendations.
- Conduct interventions and support programs to promote positive mental health and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with school policies and regulations.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Virginia.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
