Job Summary:
This position performs difficult professional work analyzing transportation and traffic operations related issues under supervision of Assistant Traffic Chief.This role includes reviewing engineering design plans for compliance with applicable federal state local laws regulations policies procedures making recommendations for necessary revisions improving maintaining all modes transportation assisting long-range pedestrian bicycle transit roadway facility planning meeting property owners engineers contractors residents discuss projects explain future projects transportation addressing questions comments received public updating developing various maps attending meetings other agencies boards coordinating review design plans provided agencies reviews special events applications maintains city staff informed road closures construction projects.
