    APN Healthcare Solutions is urgently hiring multiple LPN Detox & Psych for our client in Worcester, MA for a 12/13 week contract with a high possibility of extension.

    Position Title: LPN Detox & Psych

    Pay Rate: $30 - $33/Hourly

    Work Location: Worcester, MA

    Shift: Nights, 12 hour shifts, 7p ton 7a, every other weekend.

    Hours/day: 12 Hours

    Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (preferring temp to perm)

    • Detox and Psych LPN experience.

    Job Description:
    • Provide nursing care and support to patients undergoing detoxification from substance abuse and those with psychiatric conditions in the Detox and Psych unit.
    • Conduct initial assessments of patients' physical and mental health status, including vital signs, medical history, and behavioral observations.
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring patient safety and adherence to medication protocols.
    • Monitor patients' progress and response to treatment, identifying and reporting any changes in condition or behavior to the healthcare team.
    • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
    • Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed to manage challenging behaviors and situations.
    • Assist with group therapy sessions, psychoeducation, and therapeutic activities to promote patient engagement and recovery.
    • Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress notes accurately and timely in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
    • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff, adhering to infection control protocols and safety regulations.
    • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding mental health and addiction recovery, relapse prevention, and community resources.
